WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?

83.3 MW OLKARIA 1 ADDITIONAL UNIT 6 GEOTHERMAL POWER DEVELOPMENT PROJECT(OLKARIA AU6)

Olkaria Geothermal Project is situated within Hell’s Gate National Park 120KM from Nairobi, Kenya, and close to horticultural farms that produce some of the finest flowers in the world.

Olkaria I Power Station was the first geothermal power plant in Africa, with Kenya being the first country to build geothermal energy sources. Geothermal power has the potential to provide reliable, cost-competitive, baseload power with a small carbon footprint, and reduces vulnerability to climate by diversifying power supply away from hydropower, which currently provides most of Kenya's electricity.

The dedication and quality-focused mind of our teams have been required to fulfil our commitment towards our partners and deliver quality civil, mechanical, and piping work, including 10, 000 cube metres of concrete batching & pouring, 1, 000 Tons of reinforcement bars installation,1, 000 Tons of powerhouse steel structure installation to a maximum height of 28.5m, associated in plant road & drainage works and substation foundations.

Now completed, the plant helps driving down the cost of electricity in Kenya by displacing thermal energy while meeting the country's growing demand for electricity.
